Hi there, and welcome! I’m thrilled (well, as thrilled as one can be under the circumstances) to have you here, even though none of us signed up for this particular club.

Based on lived experience, we're here to infuse some humour into your day-to-day through beautifully designed graphic t-shirts.

My Story

I’m Imali, the founder and creative force behind The Chronic Club. My journey with chronic illness began when I was just two years old, and has progressed as I've gotten older. I have more diagnoses than a WebMD search gone wrong - a few include EDS, Ulcerative Colitis (now meaning I have a stoma #NoColonStillRollin), Enteropathic Arthritis, ME and hearing loss...

Like many of you, I’ve faced days where getting out of bed feels like a victory and nights where the pain seems never-ending. But through it all, I’ve learned that sometimes the best medicine is a good laugh (okay, and maybe a cuppa and some chocolate).

Why The Chronic Club?

I started The Chronic Club with the help of some very lovely friends, because I wanted to create something that spoke to our shared experiences - a place where we can find a bit of relatable humour and a lot of understanding. This isn’t just about selling products, it’s about building a community where we can all feel seen, heard, and - most importantly - understood.

At The Chronic Club, every design is inspired by the realities of living with chronic illness, with a heavy dose of humour to keep things light.

All our products are product-tested by me + my team and designed with you in mind! As someone living with a chronic illness, I know how important comfort is, so each item is created with your comfort at the forefront -no annoying tags, no rough seams, just soft, breathable fabric that feels as good as it looks. We're constantly looking to improve and open to feedback!
